VMC section meeting on vintage strokers
About a week ago one of the regional VMC section meetings was about vintage two strokes in general with Scotts as the main feature. So no way I could resist that! I went there together with a new Scott owner I recently met and brought along my Scott and the blown up Flyer engine. I was pleasantly surprised to see 3 (!!) two speeders at the meeting which is very, very unique for Dutch standards. I don’t think there are more than 10 two speeders in Holland so to see three of them together is quite something. It was my ’23 model, Geerts very similar ’24 model and a very tasty ’21 tourer model in original paint. The last bike just came to the Netherlands. All in all a good basis for a presentation which Geert de Kater and I gave with a lot of enthusiasm. I even met a few other Dutch Scott owners I did not know yet so this was a very pleasant evening. There also were two nice vintage DKW’s presented. I have made some pictures that you can see here..![]()
