This album contains some pictures of my 1954 Vespa rodmodel. One of my favourite scooters!
I found this scoot in the basement of a bicycle shop. The guy was not very eager to sell the bike. In fact, he had sold the bike in the past and bought it back! It was not very pretty but complete and the model is sought after. But the model is also very, very slow. So when I found a 150cc Grand Sport engine on a Belgian autojumble the choice was easy! With this engine the scooter is pretty quick and due to the wide handlebars very easy to control.
